For me it has been a bit of a different Christmas, I decided to go to a care home on Christmas day and sit with some old people. I did find it extremely hard - I miss my nanny so much so its kind of raw still. My mum was working on Christmas day so I went out in the afternoon and slept out, I had lovely company and I felt at home <3
Just before Christmas was the works do...
It was a beautiful meal and everything was decorated so nice! I had a poached tuna starter, a Christmas dinner with Turkey, then a gorgeous cheesecake for dessert. There was a disco, and then I stopped there overnight.. I may have got a little drunk at the end!
My outfit was a black sequin dress, I think it was the Nicole dress from Missguided. However I did take the stitching apart so I could make the waist smaller, adjust the bust and also the thigh part just below my bum.
I did get a fair few compliments on this dress so it was pretty happy with it! I wore it with a TopShop cream mac, and then some pastel pink pumps and a simple pearl necklace.
I'm not a fan of this photo really, but I didn't have many taken so that's why I was told I had to share it.
It was the day before Christmas Eve when I was called and asked if I could do the Grinch makeup, like the whole shabam on Christmas Eve.. So out came all of the special effects makeup again, the green hair, fancy dress and everything. I asked if I could film the process as I knew I was getting a new laptop for Christmas - So there will be new videos coming up soon!
I have filmed the process and the result of this look... In fact he even went home to his younger brother, took in some presents as his brother loves the Grinch. After his visit, he went out, showered, came back and his brother told him the Grinch has been - definitely a mission success!
I will get the tutorial edited and then I will be sharing it over on my YouTube channel and I will do a further post on it here. I hope the rest of your holiday goes well and all the best for the New Year!
